Our work is undertaken with reference to the PAS 9980 methodology, considering the fire perfermance of the extenral wall system, building configuration and the fire stratgegy of the building as well as applicable fire safety requirements.

FRAEW assessments are unertaken using the applicable PAS 9980 methodology and relevant scheme requirements, where applicable.

We provide practical, proportionate technical advice to help clients understand the risks identified and the implications for their building.

Typical scope may include:

• Review of available building information such as as-built drawings, fire stategy document and fire risk assessment

• External wall fire risk appraisal according to PAS 9980

• EWS1 -related consultancy

Hola J Surveyors can provide a focused independent review of an existing FRAEW or EWS1 assessment, based on the available information, intrusive investigation findings and other relevant evidence,  Our review considers the applicable PAS 9980 methodology and wjether the conclusionsand recommendations are proportionate to the risk identified.

The purpose of the review is to establish whether the assessment has properly considered the relevant building characteristics, external wall construction and applicable fire safety considerations.
